Please join us in calling on the Trump Administration to continue/increase funding for humanitarian assistance for Iraqi Christians and other minorities who have been driven from their homes by the sectarian violence – and to expedite resettlement of those seeking refuge in the United States.

The United States bears a profound responsibility to assist the Iraqi people in this time of continuing crisis.
I am especially concerned about the long term destabilizing effects of the traumatization of Iraqi youth by violence, displacement, and fear.
I urge you to work with the Administration and Congress to significantly increase funding for humanitarian assistance and provide security to the IDP populations in Iraq and to the Iraqi refugees struggling in nearby countries. Please assure that USCIS has the resources it needs to expedite resettlement of Iraqi refugees seeking resettlement in the U.S.
